HelvetDigital makes no warranty of any kind. Any claims arising from services rendered will be totally excluded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>4 - All service conditions apply to packages and vice versa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>5 - Any request by the customer for services from companies belonging to HelvetCompany is subject to a separate contract specific to each entity. The general terms and conditions applicable shall be those expressly communicated to and accepted by the customer prior to the conclusion of the contract. The company undertakes to inform the customer of the existence of these conditions, and the customer must provide written acceptance prior to any service. Without this acceptance, the service cannot be provided.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>6 - HelvetDigital's employees are not obliged to provide a detailed explanation of the entirety of HelvetDigital's or HelvetCompany's general terms and conditions. However, they must ensure that the customer is informed of the essential points that concern him or her. Concise and relevant information is considered sufficient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>7 - It is the customer's responsibility to obtain information about our terms and conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>8 - The customer is solely responsible for informing himself or herself about the programmed obsolescence techniques used by manufacturers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 &#091;&#093;\"><span>9 - HelvetDigital can in no way be held responsible for irreversible damage to a device following a repair. Purpose<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"243\" data-end=\"454\">These terms and conditions govern the repair services provided by <strong data-start=\"331\" data-end=\"348\">HELVETDIGITAL<\/strong> on electronic devices such as computers (desktop and laptop), servers and smartphones.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"456\" data-end=\"536\">Our qualified technicians intervene on various types of breakdowns, including :<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"753\">\n<li data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"646\"><strong data-start=\"539\" data-end=\"571\">Hardware malfunctions<\/strong> (damaged screens, batteries, motherboards, internal components, etc.).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"753\"><strong data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"672\">Software problems<\/strong> (operating systems, updates, viruses, data recovery, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"755\" data-end=\"872\">Any request for repair involves <strong data-start=\"792\" data-end=\"855\">full acceptance of these terms and conditions<\/strong> by the customer.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"877\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"924\"><strong data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"922\">2. Diagnosis and Repair Offer<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"957\">2.1. <strong data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"955\">Preliminary diagnosis<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"958\" data-end=\"1166\">\n<li data-start=\"958\" data-end=\"1064\">Before any repair, <strong data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1024\">HELVETDIGITAL performs a diagnosis<\/strong> to identify the cause of the problem.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1166\">This diagnosis is billed at the current rate, even if the customer refuses the repair after the fact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1217\">2.2. <strong data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1215\">Drawing up a repair offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1441\">\n<li data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1300\">Once the diagnosis has been made, a <strong data-start=\"1256\" data-end=\"1275\">detailed offer<\/strong> is supplied to the customer.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1301\" data-end=\"1376\">This offer specifies the cost of repair and the parts required.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1441\"><strong data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1439\">No deadline will be indicated on the offer.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1443\" data-end=\"1519\">2.3. <strong data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1517\">Additional faults discovered during repairs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1520\" data-end=\"1899\">\n<li data-start=\"1520\" data-end=\"1653\">If other problems are detected after acceptance of the initial offer, <strong data-start=\"1599\" data-end=\"1650\">a complementary offer will be submitted to the customer<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"1729\"><strong data-start=\"1656\" data-end=\"1727\">No further repairs will be carried out without his agreement.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1730\" data-end=\"1899\"><strong data-start=\"1732\" data-end=\"1897\">If the customer refuses the additional repair, HELVETDIGITAL cannot be held responsible for any complications resulting from a partial repair.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1901\" data-end=\"1904\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"1942\"><strong data-start=\"1909\" data-end=\"1940\">3. Pricing and payment<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1944\" data-end=\"1975\">3.1. <strong data-start=\"1949\" data-end=\"1973\">Repair costs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1976\" data-end=\"2156\">\n<li data-start=\"1976\" data-end=\"2055\">Repair prices are based on the offer accepted by the customer.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2056\" data-end=\"2156\"><strong data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2154\">Any work not included in the initial offer will be subject to additional invoicing.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2158\" data-end=\"2221\">3.2. <strong data-start=\"2163\" data-end=\"2219\">Mandatory payment before returning the unit<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2222\" data-end=\"2412\">\n<li data-start=\"2222\" data-end=\"2313\"><strong data-start=\"2224\" data-end=\"2311\">Full payment for the repair is required before the unit can be returned.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2314\" data-end=\"2412\"><strong data-start=\"2316\" data-end=\"2410\">No equipment will be delivered to the customer until the invoice has been paid in full.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2414\" data-end=\"2469\">3.3. <strong data-start=\"2419\" data-end=\"2467\">Abandonment in the event of non-payment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2470\" data-end=\"2701\">\n<li data-start=\"2470\" data-end=\"2701\"><strong data-start=\"2472\" data-end=\"2699\">If the customer does not pay the invoice within 60 days of completion of the repair, HELVETDIGITAL may consider the device abandoned and proceed with its destruction or resale to cover the costs incurred.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2703\" data-end=\"2706\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"2708\" data-end=\"2754\"><strong data-start=\"2711\" data-end=\"2752\">4. Lead times and parts availability<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2756\" data-end=\"2787\">4.1. <strong data-start=\"2761\" data-end=\"2785\">Repair times<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2788\" data-end=\"3051\">\n<li data-start=\"2788\" data-end=\"2843\"><strong data-start=\"2790\" data-end=\"2841\">HELVETDIGITAL does not commit to a fixed deadline.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2844\" data-end=\"2965\"><strong data-start=\"2846\" data-end=\"2963\">Deadlines quoted orally or by e-mail are purely indicative and do not constitute a firm commitment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2966\" data-end=\"3051\"><strong data-start=\"2968\" data-end=\"3049\">In order to avoid unnecessary constraints, no deadline will be indicated on the offer.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3053\" data-end=\"3098\">4.2. <strong data-start=\"3058\" data-end=\"3096\">Spare parts availability<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3099\" data-end=\"3324\">\n<li data-start=\"3099\" data-end=\"3324\"><strong data-start=\"3101\" data-end=\"3181\">If a part is no longer available, the customer will be informed and can choose to<\/strong> :\n<ul data-start=\"3186\" data-end=\"3324\">\n<li data-start=\"3186\" data-end=\"3255\">Wait a little longer to receive the part.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3258\" data-end=\"3324\">Cancel the repair (the diagnostic fee remains due).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"3326\" data-end=\"3329\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"3331\" data-end=\"3365\"><strong data-start=\"3334\" data-end=\"3363\">5. All responsibility lies exclusively with the customer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1395\" data-end=\"1398\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"1400\" data-end=\"1466\"><strong data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1464\">2. Device Retention and Recovery Conditions<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3293\" data-end=\"3438\">4.1. <strong data-start=\"3298\" data-end=\"3436\">The device remains in the possession of HELVETDIGITAL for the duration of the expert appraisal procedure and the processing of the claim.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3440\" data-end=\"3498\">4.2. At the end of the process, the customer has <strong data-start=\"3811\" data-end=\"3827\">two options<\/strong> for his damaged appliance:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3860\" data-end=\"4002\">\n<li data-start=\"3860\" data-end=\"3923\"><strong data-start=\"3862\" data-end=\"3892\">Device recovery<\/strong>, at no extra charge.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3924\" data-end=\"4002\"><strong data-start=\"3926\" data-end=\"3977\">Disposal and safe recycling of the device<\/strong> by <strong data-start=\"3982\" data-end=\"3999\">HELVETDIGITAL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"955\" data-end=\"1006\">4.5. <strong data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"1004\">Special case: insurance request<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1413\">\n<li data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1124\"><strong data-start=\"1009\" data-end=\"1122\">In some cases, the insurance company may require the customer to return the damaged device after it has been replaced.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1125\" data-end=\"1264\"><strong data-start=\"1127\" data-end=\"1262\">If the insurance company so requests, it is the customer's responsibility to take the device to the insurance company within the specified time limit.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1413\"><strong data-start=\"1267\" data-end=\"1411\">HELVETDIGITAL is not responsible for this process, nor for the consequences of any delay or failure to comply with the insurance conditions.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4004\" data-end=\"4053\">4.6. <strong data-start=\"4009\" data-end=\"4051\">Data processing before recycling<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"4054\" data-end=\"4520\">\n<li data-start=\"4054\" data-end=\"4197\">Any device containing data will be <strong data-start=\"4097\" data-end=\"4174\">formatted according to the requirements of the Data Protection Act (DPA)<\/strong> before recycling.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4198\" data-end=\"4439\">For devices requiring manual deactivation before formatting (e.g. : <strong data-start=\"4281\" data-end=\"4354\">Apple computers requiring \u00abLocate my Mac\u00bb to be disabled\u00bb<\/strong>), this procedure will be carried out with the customer before the unit is destroyed.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4440\" data-end=\"4520\"><strong data-start=\"4442\" data-end=\"4518\">This secure formatting and deletion service is completely free of charge.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"4522\" data-end=\"4525\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"4527\" data-end=\"4563\"><strong data-start=\"4530\" data-end=\"4561\">5.
